Sisig!

Have you guys heard of Ton-ton’s sisig? It’s the best, I really mean it, it’s everything I am going to tell you about the food.

The first time was when we still have that much time to go to SM Calamba whenever it was our vacant, because we don’t consume the vacant time for paper works that time, not like today. It was lunch I don’t remember who introduced Ton-ton’s to me but I’m pretty sure it’s one of our classmate.

For only P65 it’s worth it a Sisig with rice and the Sisig is for two but since we love it so much you can make it solo, only for you. They have the branch on the back side of SM and I think they also have it also near in LPU-Laguna. Students must be satisfied, also when there’s an event in school Ton-ton’s is always there!

Burn-out Burger!

Hello my dear food lovers! I have something to brag about, I am sure it’s for your taste this week, since I love burgers I'm going to make you crave for this burger. It's the best for me, I mean it’s favorable for me. This is the time where I need to shine, kidding. Do you guys love combination? For a cheaper and better cost? Well let me introduce you this Burn-out Burger and the food itself.

It was hot, boring and full of vacant day. Where our teachers are not around then we felt this kind of boredom since me and my college friends are in the same decision we went to this "Burn-out Burger" so I ordered the basic one, consist of hamburger beef patty, also they serve it with iced tea, fries. Worth it, to say. I love their fries because they don’t add salt to it and it came just as natural potato it was for only P85. The beef patty is so creamy I don’t know I’ll describe it as creamy and the softness. If you may want to try it then go for it, it’s worth it.

I know they are just a new branch in Lyceum and the also have it in Calamba. Which my young brother keep on taking about, he wants me to go with him but I don’t have much tie back then. Also if you’re eating with your friends, family it feels like the food is running because it gradually fades, but it’s nice when eating with them.

Canton and Halo-Halo

I’ve been to many places but of course you will have this one place that you love because you always look back for the food. In Aplaya, Calamba we keep on coming back specially with my family, actually it was recommended by my parents. They have shared that they used to date there when they were just boyfriend and girlfriend, how cute my parent was.

I think I remember I was just 10 years old when we ate there for the first time it’s an old style a kubo and the plates are topped with banana leaf it’s cute.

The most famous food and dessert there is the Canton and Halo-halo to tell you the canton taste like no other could do the same recipe as them, we tried it also in our house but no, we couldn’t do it, it turned out different taste. The canton is something with broth because of the hotness while it is served it is full of vegetables, omg I am literally craving for now. The celery, pork with liver and cabbage is a perfect combination so it is a tradition to us family to eat there together with their perfect canton it is for P50 per plate. The halo-halo is P25 it’s different and tasty. Sweet.

Also it’s a tradition for me everytime I am going to my dentist for braces adjustment, I go there after even though I’m alone and the teeth hurt. No matter what is I will still love the Canton in Aplaya.

Mushroom Pepper Steak

Who loves burger like me? I really love eating hamburger since McDonald’s have created this new dish called Mushroom Pepper Steak, so I said I gotta try this one this looks so delicious. Since I love burgers and the patty is looking sweet and bouncy I should really believe and try it out!

I don’t remember which branch of McDonald’s I ate the Mushroom Pepper steak but I definitely want to grab it already when I was ordering at the counter. If you want to duble up your patty then you should buy the P89 and for the regular it’s only for P55 both with drinks. I ordered the regular one because I was just going to try it.

So yes, it’s here the smell is something could fill your hungry stomach just that also the mushroom I was a little bit disappointed in the reason of it was just 5 pieces sliced mushroom was there, I also love mushroom. Anyways, the patty with the creamy steak is just so perfect was eating them with my friends and we had the thought that it is really tasty, the smooth patty slicing along with the creamy sauce is just perfect.

For me, you are not going to complain about this just taste it and you be the judge it’s cute to look and too beautiful to eat.

Sinigang na Tilapia

Hello! Have you eaten your lunch yet? Well, my daddy is the chef for today since my mommy and my young brothers are not here he decided to cook our lunch, because if it was me possibly it will be a mess.

Our food for today is the Sinigang na Tilapia, I was fascinated by the smell while my daddy is cooking and putting the ingredients. My mommy usually uses the rice water to use as the broth in a dish and it makes the broth more creamy and tasty so we follow the same.

At the same time my cousin and other relative came in the house and we ate lunch together, it’s really nice if you’re eating with your family and the Sinigang na Tilapia makes you more closer to each other that kind of feeling. I always want the tail part of the Tilapia and it is so smooth together with the vegetable. I forgot it is Sinigang na Tilapia sa kamatis. In cooking you will just need less than 30 minutes ang it’s straight way of cooking where you can include all the ingredients together without waiting for the other too boil and after you put it all together, wait for just 5 minutes to soak and its done!

Eating together with relatives and other companion in life is the best way of eating food and you will feel all the love and fullness. 

HAVE YOU TRIED SNAIL?

Friends I’m back! Few weeks ago I wasn’t able to update my blog and now I’m back here to give to suggest some of the foods I’ve tasted. How do you guys love sea food? I totally love it, make sure you guys don’t have an allergy to sea foods because you will missed the most fresh and delicious food that I will be introducing now.

Back when I was in Batangas two years ago, my daddy at night join my other relatives who lived in a seaside to catch some fish they usually catch fish at night until midnight. So when we are about to wake up the table is loaded with fresh fish, crab, and snail. Speaking of snail do you have the guts to eat it? The black one and long? As for my situation I was invited to eat it and I said “Is it edible to?” I was too uncertain.

They teach me how to eat the snail; anything that could destroy the shell is alright or just sip it. So I tried it and I failed, yes, it just tastes nothing and I vomited I couldn’t do it.

After some years, last year 2016 my mom’s friend and my auntie’s were craving to snail that was sale nearby so decided right away to buy that afternoon and cooked. We were complaining that we don’t eat snail me and my cousin because we just can’t imagine eating snail but my mom cooked it with coconut milk and her recipes are the best. Seriously, it was full of chilli and the coconut milk extract taste the best I was able to eat it without any hesitation.

If you will include coconut milk with some soup it just tasted like the normal fish and so soft! So don’t bother it’s amazing. 

Cream Puff!

Hello guys! I’m here to serve you again another food so basically, you all already know me that while writing the whole content here I’m craving for real, legit. I want to go back there, for that so unforgettable cute cream puff! I saw cream puffs previously but it doesn’t give me that much impact until I’ve seen and tasted this one from Los Baños.

We went to UPLB for some academic purposes to conduct an interview and we have other reason why we went there hour in advance for some obviously purpose this shouldn’t be excluded in a somewhat like adventure, of course, it’s the food. We travelled there for 1 hour from LPU deciding what and where to eat, we got or first choice it’s for lunch but I won’t be telling you guys what we ate just stay and watch from my next blog I’ll be including it for you all!

First choice was when we ate our lunch, tell me guys you aren’t all full after you ate the whole meal you want some sweets, dessert to complete the appetite finally! My classmate recommended us this super delicious I won’t ever forget cream puff it only cost P15 and worth it. You just need to go there at the refrigerator full of cakes, cupcakes, and cream puff and pick up yourself your choices. I picked up the Vanilla Cream Puff and go to the cashier to pay for it; of course you need to pay after you got it! Hahaha. So it went like this the Vanilla on the top and my first bite was speechless literally me and my other classmate was like “Wooow! Sobrang sarap sobrang worth it, grabe” We were not over reacting that time but it was really good. I’m cry. There are other flavours like Caramel, Chocolate and you have a lot of choices for cupcakes I want you all guys to try there it was so great. You can buy it for boxes too.
